In today’s class we talked about WWI WWII and the Cold War. Overall leading up to the “Military Industrial Complex” that Eisenhower coined during the Cold War. This has a lot to do with computer systems that were used during that time and how it has increased and grown better overtime. My teacher had mention identity and how the government controls it yet it also comes with perks like no one can steal my identification (easily that is. If someone tried they could possibly accomplish their goals) and allows for a sense of security. With this radical production of technology it easier to keep track of things like identification for example when the army needed to give out penchants to soldiers who have served in the war, there needed to be a system to keep the people in order which got better with the use of computers.
This is what understood from class, but honestly I’m not really sure what the purpose of this lesson was. I know I’ll figure it out later though, for now I will just keep thinking about it.
